All users see an event in their local time
Once you create an event, each user will see the event date/time in their local time zone. Since Slack adapts to your local timezone, so does Eventbot. You don't have to worry about doing any conversions since Eventbot takes care of all of that!
Events must be created based on a default timezone
When you create an event, the date/time must be input based on your workspace time zone. You can always change this setting in Eventbot as shown below.
To change your workspace timezone
In Slack, type the command "/events settings" - you'll see the following buttons:
Click "Change Timezone" to specify a new Timezone for Eventbot. Note this won't change your Slack timezone - it will only affect Eventbot.
Eventbot will assume a default timezone for your workspace based on your Slack workspace settings. To change this select your Timezone region, then choose a Timezone (as shown below).
