An Eventbot user is a someone who has RSVP'd to an event
We'll count someone as an Eventbot user if they RSVP ✅ or ⛔ to an event through Eventbot. This means your Slack workspace can have 100 or 1000 users, but much fewer active Eventbot users.
Note: Just looking at an event, checking event details, or getting invited does NOT count someone as an Eventbot user. Rest easy friends. 😃
Will I get billed if I go over the limit? Nope!
After you hit the Eventbot user limit additional folks will not be able to RSVP to your events. You can choose to upgrade or you can choose not to (we hope you do!) but you won't be billed automatically.
What happens if I hit the Eventbot user limit.
Once your workspace hits the Eventbot user limit for the month, new users will not be able to RSVP to events. Existing Eventbot users can still use Eventbot normally. The Eventbot user limit resets each month.
When does the count of Eventbot users reset?
We reset the count on the 1st of every month. As an example, if your team has 19 Eventbot users on January 31st, you'll start fresh on February 1st with zero Eventbot users.
Can a user be counted more than once?
Nope. If a user RSVP's to an event, they are only counted once for that entire month. They can continue RSVP'ing to events and won't be counted twice.
What happens if an Eventbot user leaves the workspace?
Slack does not alert Eventbot when a user leaves, so we must count that person as an Eventbot user until the start of next month. At the start of the next month they won't be counted as a user.
