Please ensure you've read the introduction to importing calendars.
How to disconnect your imported calendar:
1. First find the imported calendar you wish to disconnect. Go into the channel and type
"/events import". You should see a list of imported calendars, press the "Disconnect" button. If you do not see the imported calendar listed, it may be in another channel.
What happens when I disconnect a calendar?
Once you disconnect an imported calendar, a few things happen immediately:
- Eventbot will post a notification to the channel that the external calendar has been removed.
- All the imported events from that external calendar, will be removed from Slack.*
- Any previous Slack messages with the event won't be interactive. For example, you can't RSVP to a removed event or invite someone to a removed event.
*If the external calendar is imported to multiple channels, the events will remain in Slack
Can I re-import a calendar after disconnecting it?
Yes, you can import a calendar back to your Slack channel. However, it's important to note that any users who previously RSVP'd to an event (before it was disconnected), must RSVP again.
